Michael Leonetti Ugly heroes is one of my favorite groups of all time. For me Verbal Kent's voice is just euphoric, and then you have Red Pill on top of that?! It's amazing but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Their talent only shines through so well because of Apollo here and I love it. I listen to the album nonstop and it inspires me when i write my own shit. Favorite track: Low Serotonin (prod. Oddisee) (Bonus).

Grant Jones Great record - shame there's no CD. Red Pill performs some of his best verses here, so intense yet equally introspective. Top stuff. Favorite track: Michael & Scottie & Horace.

Paul Cooke Absolute bangers. Feels kinda like this would have sat nicely as a 'bonus 2nd cd' to the UH album, good selection of tracks to follow that up. Just wish there were a few more verses sometimes, "Naysayers & Playmakers"...that beat! Over far too soon, want more bars! Favorite track: Naysayers & Playmakers.

After Ugly Heroes' 2013 classic self titled LP, Apollo Brown, Verbal Kent and Red Pill are back again with a new EP coming out August 19th. The new EP features five new songs (including a Murs feature) and 5 bonus track b-sides. Ugly Heroes will also being touring Europe for a few weeks this August, starting with the legendary Hip-Hop Kemp Festival before hitting London and a number of other spots (all the dates will soon be up on the MMG Event Calendar). The new EP will first be available digitally with a vinyl edition to follow late in the year. Original artwork by illustrator Paul Grelet.
